Kidz Academy is a licensed Class “A” child care center with a 2 star rating in Louisiana’s Quality Start Rating System. Our hours of operation are Monday- Friday 6:00 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.
Kidz Academy provides educational and childcare services to children ages 6 weeks through 12 years of age. Each age group is divided and split in to their own classes.
Kidz Academy’s Facility consists of several different class rooms. In the main entrance you have the infants (ages 6 weeks to 12 months), the one year olds (ages 12 months to 24 months) and the two’s (ages 24 months to 3).
We provide a mid-morning snack at 8:30 a.m. for all of the kids present at that time. We then provide a hot meal at lunch time and a nutritional after-noon snack.
We also love to party! When it’s your child’s birthday we would love to celebrate with them. You may bring in special snacks to give your child a party at school.
We currently pick up from 11 schools in Bossier Parish. We provide before and after school services. We also offer Summer care for the school age children as well as care during holidays.
We also have drop in rates available.
Curriculum
At Kidz Academy we have our own uniquely designed curriculum that is free to all of our parents. We learn through play not through papers. Our children sing songs, they count and say their ABC'S. They learn their colors and shapes as well as manners and for some they learn to us the potty for the first time. We take great pride in what we do! Most of our staff have experience in the child care field and have a great passion for the job they do! All though we do not have a nationally recognized curriculum we do have structure and our children do learn!
